This one is a better picture than my first challenge pic. (I think.) I took it because of the unique clouds after a large thunder storm. I am trying to really get them to stand out in the photo.
My attempt. Converted twice in ps, once for light, once for dark, overlaid the dark on the light. Selected the parts I wanted light,, used a mask, painted over with black, flatened layers, adj levels a bit. DAve
Thanks Buddy. I wish I could get them to come out of the camera the way I saw it, with less post-processing. Usually I am driving somewhere with the camera in the truck and I only have a moment to stop and shoot. So either the situation has passed or I am late to somewhere and don't have time to really play with exposure.
I have another similar shot I'm working on. The actual scene had glistening rain drops all over the grass and such, but I can't get it to show up right in the picture. Frustrating to say the least.
