I am heading out to the Tetons and Elk Preserve (in Jackson Hole) in less than 1 week. The trick will be that I am also going to Vegas in the same period.
While this is very exciting, I am trying very hard to conserve on my packing. I am, however, having difficulty finding one product - fingerless shooting gloves. I was at B&H last week and the Lowe Pro gloves that they sell are just too thin.
Well, I am almost there. I did indeed find a pair of mittens that the top half pulls back off of. This is a good thing since apparantly Jackson got a lot of snow last night. We will be arriving in a couple of hours.
Getting ready to leave tomorrow morning - a 6:10 AM flight from Jackson to Las Vegas (via Salt Lake). I will be spending 3 days there with the Digital Wedding Forum at a wedding convention.
On Sunday though, we plan on hitting Death Valley. Should be great considering the recent rains there.
Well, I am back! I am going to put together a couple of small articles this weekend on the main page about the Elk Refuge in Jackson Wyoming and my trips to Death Valley and the Valley of Fire in Las Vegas.
