Nice place you have here. Kudos to those responsible.

I'm a bonafide dog nut - do a bit of work for hire, some for local charities and such, but mostly for fun.

Went digital about 20 months ago so I'm still heavy into the learning curve, both in terms of equipment and post processing techniques. Coming along, albeit slowly!

Looking forward to participating here, getting to know the folks, and learning a thing or two.

Welcome, Holmes! Don't know if you participate in any other on-line photography forums but you'll find this one stays pretty much focused on the photography end and not on taking pot shots at other forum members.

Of course, we do tend to get off on a few tangents when it comes to our dogs . I guess I'm the most guilty.

I am currently owned by a mutt I rescued several years ago. She's a Rott/Lab/Border Collie mix.... yup, a very confused canine! I had planned on placing her after she was all fixed up but she bonded too hard to place in another home. Her name is Gizmo, here's a pic:



She had a rough start in life with one of our local drug dealers but he's now doing a three strikes stretch and I have a great dog!

Gizmo is adorable and your portfolio is very nice. I have a special fondness for Rescues myself. They make the greatest companions and it's wonderful to give them a chance to live the type of life they deserve.
