This is one cool Cat!! OK so I'm blind Shubbie is an Iguanna. Has anyone ever had to Photograph one of these guys? This guy is mine and he was not very easy to photograph. (I think he's afraid of the camera) Another problem was the enclosure lighting (The heat spots had to be left on so he wouldn't move!)

You might try continuous lighting instead of strobes. Place a photoflood near the heat lamps and use that for lighting.

Must admit, I'm not an Iguanna guy but that's a very nice shot.

I really like the shot of your pet. Welcome and thanks for posting.
I might just shift the color slightly in Photoshop but outside of that I think you captured (Pun) him. What is his temperament like?

Thank you All, I did run the photo through Photshop but because of the heat spots The Reds really show through (Next time I'm going to set up first then turn off the spots )His Temperment is very tame But he doesnt like my large SLR in his face (this shot was taken with a Fuji super zoom mounted on a lite weight tripod)
