Hey Jim,

Photographing cats is a bit different from shooting dogs...particularly non-show cats (which are used to being handled). Shooting normal cats can be an entirely different bowl of wax. I did a shoot last year of a snowshoe siamese that was done for a shelter....it was not easy and I wound up having to do the shoot on two different days.

The most important thing when shooting cats is having someone else around to distract the cat. Not all cats are treat motivated and many are very skittish. Shooting dogs is a breeze in comparison.
