Here is a photo of myself(left) and fellow Canadian photographer and friend Mark with his Hasselblad HD3.

This was shot from the South Rim during sunrise March 7. I have been slowly going through my images from this 2 week trip and will be putting together a series of images from Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, Arches NP, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands and Zion.

Thanks for looking
Jim Davis

Hey Jim,

Thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing your collection. I am a bit awed that you were able to hit all of these parks in just two weeks. I could happily spend two weeks in Death Valley and feel like I am robbing myself by leaving on Wednesday. :P

I have to say it is a bit of a chore getting in as much as we do. We try to maximize our time and plan where we want to be for sunrise/sunset which means we are constantly on the move from early morning to after sunset, sometimes not getting a place to stay until late night, then do it over again.

As usual we did run short on time at the end of the trip and missed a few places or did not spend as much time as we would have liked. Next trip I am leaning towards slowing things down and focusing on fewer places. With two young boys it does make it hard to get away like I used to.

All in all it was a great trip but I needed a few down days just to recover!

Jim
