Thanks for sharing. This, in my opinion, is one of the stronger pieces you have shared in the last few weeks. A nice pose and very well lit. I will suggest that the background branches are just a bit distracting to my eye.
The heron itself looks great - nice light. The busy background here is the problem, and there is not much you could have done about it. Sometimes you have to take what you get.
