Meet Stuart Little. He was adopted after being rescued from a hoarding situation. I did my first true private session for his mom today. This was the last shot of the day and happened when I was packing up, but had my camera handy. It turns out to be my favorite.

His mom ordered 60+ prints of him and his siblings;mostly 11x14. We're exhausted, but happy with the day.

Jim - I really like this shot. I like the DOF and the monochromatic feel to it. Personally, I'd tone down the catchlight in his eye a little. I think my eye finds it a little glaring. Very very nice.

Thanks Julie,

You're right about the catchlight. I only had an umbrella still up and didn't want to mess with anything and miss the shot. I'll tone it down before I send it off to print.

What a great expression on his face. The color of the chair makes a great backdrop as well.

Thanks Anthony.

This guy has a special place for me. I forgot to mention that the way his mouth looks is due to a badly healed broken jaw.
