Kent,
I agree that these images are a little too small to really appreciate. Alot of us these days are using 24"+ monitors at high res and this 400 pixel high image looks pretty small. I find that 600-800 pixel high images work pretty well for me.

Kent, The largest version that I see is only 400 pixels high. Below is an image that is 800 pixels high (900 with the frame) as an example. On another point, is there a reason you are using gif compressed images? Gifs get great compression because they only have a 256 color pallette. This works well for simple web graphics but you are really limiting your images with this format. Jpeg uses a 16 million color pallette which gives a much better web rendition of a photo.
