Well...Horseshoe Bend is the beginnings of the Grand Canyon

Dont know why I passed over this one, but processed it a few weeks ago....its becoming one of my favorites.

Tried a diffrent perspective than the normal and overdone horizontal approach.

Hope you all like.

Stunning! I think that is one amazing place, and you have captured the feeling of being there! Awesome Job.

Hey Roman,

I agree. Awesome work. You have an eye for landscapes that makes me jealous, LOL. Just spectacular.

Roman,
as everyone else has already said, this is an awesome image. What lens did you use?

I used the Tokina 12-24....its my absolute favorite landscape lens. I call it my perspective generating machine...lol.

Thanks Jim!!

I had been talking to another fellow who does weddings while I was in the UK. He said one thing that stuck in my head. He said that if you want to do different work, get 'different lenses.' He said something specifically like this. 'Everyone has common zooms and zoom ranges. If you want different looking perspective, you need ot use different types of lenses.' He is right. The same thing, I think is coming out here as many of Roman's best shots are coming out with that ultra-wide.
