This is from earlier last year. between the perspective of this shot, the wide angle I took it with and the colors being seriously off (WB Issues) on the origonals (and me not taking the time to throw out a greypoint target) this has been quite a challenge to get stiched....this is my 3rd try and as they say...3rd time is the charm.

Ahh...and my friend is a brewery/pub in central oregon...they want a copy to hang....BIG.

Roman,
it's magnificent! When they print it, I want to know how big it goes. And then were the pub is so I can visit and see it!!

BTW, to my eye, the colors look right on.

Roman, I second Jim's comments to me the colors are spot on
I would also like to know where the pub is, it'll give me an excuse to visit Oregon

Jim – That is a 5 shot pano….I should be able to get a 40” x 70” print out of it…The pub from what I understand is still under construction….but will get the proper name of it for you all later. I don’t drink so….

Don – Ditto…

Nolad, Cathy & Buddy – Thanks!!!

Dave – Yes, and the camp ground and another parking lot is on the right side on the raised area. My monitor was just calibrated a few days ago, so hoping the rocks are dead on.

Thanks everyone!!!

Hi Roman,

I can only echo everyone else's comments... this image is superb! Would you mind sharing your workflow as it relates to the lighting of the valley vs. that of the sky? Maybe its the dynamic range of the D300, but without significant post-production edits I doubt I'd be able to achieve that kind of daylight balance between sky and foreground in-camera - D200...(and the sides of the valley on either side eliminate the ability to used grad. filters...).

Thanks in advance!

GG

Actually I did use ND grad. 2 stop soft grad. Each shot I repositioned the grad to match the division line....and with soft it blended in seamlessly.
