Continuing on my trip in the southwest last month, I made the drive out to Chaco Canyon in New Mexico. You have to drive over 10 miles on a fairly well maintained dirt road to get out there, but it is really worth it if you are into native American culture. I've visitied alot of ruins in South America, Mexico and the US and these are right up there.

I took the time to get a 360 pano of Pueblo Bonita, the largest and best preserved pueblo in the canyon. In order to view the pano with the dynamic viewer you must have Java installed on your computer.

Thought I'd add a little info in case any of you are planning on going out to Chaco. We went in the middle of March. Chaco is up on the plateau and it can still be pretty cold that time of the year. The day we arrived the high was in the low fortys and that first night it was down in the teens. Oh and the wind was blowing sustained at 30 and gusting to 50. And there was also about an inch of snow. So like the Boy Scouts, you should be prepared .
