Thanks for the looking at my site and the positive feedback. Yes the Walnut Canyon walk is alot of steps although it's not so bad going down. However, the return on a hot day can be a real grind. Dont' know when you were there last but they had a rock fall a couple of years ago and it cut off the Island Loop trail. Now you have to go back the way you came when you go out to the restored cliff dwelling on the far side of the Island.
