This is just a part of the Whitewater falls which is over 400' high ,located in Northern North Carolina, I have a book that tells exactly where if you are interested. there are many waterfalls IN this area more than you can photograph in a week .

Hey Randal....nice shot. I live in probably one of the richest waterfall areas in the US. The columbia Gorge alone has 77 of them. :~) I have to say though...usually only surrounded by evergreens and only leaf based trees turn yellow in the fall....usually no brilliant reds or oranges though.
