While visiting a local duck pond in Channelview, TX I ran across a family of nutria. They seemed willing to have their picture taken. Of course the sack of old bread I had with me only sweetened the deal.

Hey Robert,

Thanks for sharing. The fifth of the bunch is definitely my favorite. Those teeth are freaky. When I think of Nutria, I generally fall back to an old Seinfeld episode when George and Elaine purchase an 8,000 hat, lose it and replace it with a 10 one made of Nutria...."It's a rat hat..and not even a good one at that."

Thanks James, I like number 5 too. My wife was feeding him bread so he was pretty close. Never saw the Seinfeld episode about the rat hat, maybe they will reshow one day.
