From my camping weekend a few weeks ago.

Composition is a very hot topic in most forums, and finding an item or area that works and building compositions from that point can be almost endless. Here is a central theme with a LOT of diffrent compositions withn about 25 feet of each other. It shows how the creative spirit of just getting to know your area can create very diffrent views of a familiar theme.

Once you start noticing the details in an area, you begin to see how things can fit together....and a wide lens is an amazing tool to get the most out of this as you can exaggerate the size of foreground items to fit well into the composition.

LOL, Roman, you know this thread in and of itself is an article. :P Very good point and very well illustrated.

Roman, great stuff. I love the 4th one, and the 2nd close behind.

Good job Roman . This reminds of the way I was taught to think and shoot ,you would go out and have to shoot a whole roll of film not leaving a 10' circle and not having the same image twice.. A very good exercise. BTW the last is my fav I like the light...
Thanks Randall

Very nice series Roman. Each has it's own strong point though my favorite is your first. My eyes gravite to the central rock then dance around the image to various contrasting spots.

I have never heard of this area.
