This site is probably one the sites that has been shot to death. But this place is so magical when the light is there for you.

Here is my attempt on this vista of Monument Valley, on the golden hour.

Cheers and sweet dreams

JD

Hi JD,

Welcome to the forum. Beautiful photograph. I don't think any area is ever 'over photographed.' There are a million places with a million different ways of shooting it..and, LOL, if it is beautiful, what counts is that it is yours. :P

Well for me I can't get enough of this part of the country . It brings back old memories of cowboy movies. I can just see Roy Rogers, Cisco Kid, or Gene Autry coming up the trail. Good job

I agree with James here there's so many ways to photograph something. If you would have moved just a foot forward, backward, left or right the view would have been much different. The key is you got the shot you wanted and if the result pleases you that's icing on the cake. Great shot by the way.

She's a keeper alright! Nice 3 D effect, leading lines from the clouds...
