I have finished my coffee which is a signal for me to get showered and start the day. Already gotten the kids to school, walked three miles with Dot and have given myself a little me time. Time to be productive!

These are what have sold as art prints to vet offices and to clients. This sort of print seems to be very popular

this is in a few vet offices

These sell great to clients. It just takes finding the right quote to move them

Dog show advertising photos

These are not typical ad photos. Which is why people call me. You still have to know how to get the best of the dog, but, do it in a way that not every other ad has the dog.

I thought this Jr Handler needed a fun, young feel

This was the cover of Sight and Scent last fall

I think it is all about finding your niche. If we all did it the same way, it would be a very bad thing. Like I said at the talk I gave last friday, I can tell you exactly how I do things and your photos will still be different. Not because of anything beyond the fact each person has a different vision.

those are outstanding. We do a similar thing with the Sundance calendar and posters with images and quotes that we sell to the same audience. These are great. Have you thought about trying to mass-market them?

Hey Julie...As I see it, the beauty of adding the quotes is that it transforms a pet portrait (market size = 1 owner) to a general interest / motivational / sales poster (market size > 1). And when done well (I love the Dental ad), the sales could be huge.

Great work...its OK not to post so much when you are busy getting results like this.

Hey Julie,

Thanks for sharing these. These are just great...and really a brilliant idea. How big are these art prints?

I love these, too. The dental poster should be in every vet office - it's hilarious!

I must say, I dont often frequent the pet side of things due to my type of shooting. I need to visit more often...these are awesome Julie.
