In some parts of the country eagles are very plentiful here in Ohio we have plenty of sparrows or maybe even robins, but we don't have an abundance of eagles at least not in , Ross , Highland , Clinton , or brown counties. So great shots of eagles are hard to capture.lol
The problem is capture one well exposed and relatively sharp and not blow out the beautiful blue sky. I managed to catch this one using a monopod with a ball and cup.
Thanks for viewing Randall

Very nice shot Randall. Great exposure and one of the hardest things I've ever tried to do was capture BIF. This is an excellent job.

Hey Randall,

Agreed, nice shot. The curious thing for me is that there appears to be a bright halo around the eagle. Is this a HDR shot?

No James it's not an HDR .I think it's partly the white clouds and maybe I got a little careless with the levels and exposure in lightening the body of the Eagle . If I had had time or the forthought to use spot metering I probably would have had better exposure.
