Yes 6 - 8 feet, We had a guide a young lady that couldn't of weighed 110 lbs, they told us first thing "Don't think you can get this close any where else", there is a very good food supply in the salmon, the bears tolerate us and almost seem indifferent to us being there

Thats one big dog.............what a shot....# 1 awesomest..I bet the overcast light helped keep the exposure as level as it is. Where is this location?
