My only experience with HSUS was a positive one. They sent personnel, equipment and supplies to assist us in a search for a lost dog.

That said, it was a pretty high-profile search that turned into a media frenzy and a goat rope. Poor dog was never found.

The HSUS pays a minimum of *six* lobbyists in the state of Iowa alone. Do you think the nice folks donating to HSUS know that is where their money is going rather than to actually helping rescue/shelter animals. Sorry... my last post on this subject. I am way too passionate about it.
