SNAKE in the grass = a Hawk Story (15)

1. Enjoying the nice warm sun after a long cold winter


2. What is that between my legs


3. I will shake him off


4.That idea didn't work


5. Plan B, lean over and then grab him with my other foot


6. Got him now I need to pull him down


7. Ok now I need to pull him down a little more


8. YUP!!! he is turning loose. Now I grab him and find a tree and enjoy fresh snake for lunch


9. Lunch time


The next photos will show you how long the snake was and that it took a while for him to stop moving around.

Amazing series of shots, Roger. Looks like it was hard to tell who caught who initially.

BTW, has Spring sprung up in the High Country yet?

Another great series. Snakes have eluded me for the most part, but I find them fascinating.
