Hey Everyone,

This a Selkie. Selkie is an Alaskan Malamute that I shot a few years back, and was asked if I would be willing to do some updated photos.

I hope you like them.

Cheers
James

I really like the second and fourth shots, but the third shot is a total crack up. Made me laugh out loud. That little teeny sliver of teeth showing is too funny. Pretty dog and neat photos.

I love the 3rd shot. What a great personality that you captured.

Thanks, Guys, for the comments. I was going for different than my usual way of photographing this one. I was using a strong side light, which I normally wouldn't use, except as a fill.

I was also shooting from up above, using a ladder. I thought it helped create an interesting angle, particularly of Selkie howling. Selkie's owner was particularly interested in photographs of her howling (LOL, which I have several of). Something about NPR makes her howl.

Very very nicely done. The "drunk" look in the third one is priceless.

Thanks, Jim. When it was one of the owner's favorite images as well. Honestly, I did not love it when I first saw it, but I have changed my opinion on it fairly quickly. LOL, it makes me laugh...
