I realize I have not post much on this site lately, so thought I would put up a few from a recent trip that included Mono lake. I hope you enjoy.

Comments always appreciated.

3. This one is a little different from what you typically see from Mono Lake, so thought I would post it.

Gorgeous Dave. I love the last one, and the colors of #2. Ok, the colors of #1 too. LOL!

Dave:

Good to see you again!

I like No.'s 1 & 2, but I think No. 3 is exceptionally good.

Very well exposed and good composition. Good job on the crop too.

Jim

Very nice, Dave. Love them all. What a great place for a photographer! Love the way the environment goes from tranquil and calm to angry and the mood changes are reflected in both the water and the sky.

Dave, I like them all very much. Love the sky and #2 needs to be worked a bit to realize its full potential. As they sit now...#3 is my fav...#2 could easily surpass it with some TLC.

Really nice work!!!!

Hey everyone - thanks for taking the time to comment. Mono lake is such a photographers spot. This was my first trip there - I was there for one stormy sunset and one calm sunrise. 10 hours apart and it was like being in two totally different places.

Roman - I am very curious in your suggestions for the TLC needed for #2?

May I ask what is the TLC stand for?

English is not my first language and sometime, hard to figure out these shortenings. (And americans love them!)

I shoot on Fuji Velvia and Astia, with Nikon F6 and Pentax Z1p with Sigma zoom lenses.

Hey Attila,

TLC stands for "tender loving care,' a euphemism for a little post processing.
