Thank you Jim, Durwood, James and Penny for the nice comments and warm welcome to your forum.

He was a fairly big fellow James and very much aware of me, and I didn't want to push "his" territory.

Penny, this crop was about a fourth of the frame, and I'm shooting a FF D700 Nikon w/300mm f2.8 VR lens, so I'd guess he was approx. 150' away.

I also want to mention that I need to edit my preferences for email notifications, I didn't receive any, sorry for the delay.
