James:
Yes, we splurged on the Parlor car and loved it. Like a dolt, I managed to get on the train after mistakenly having installed an almost dead battery instead of a fresh one. Compounded the problem by leaving all my other spares in the car. ARGH &^$
Only ended up with about a half dozen shots before my camera gave up the ghost. What I did come up with were nothing to write home about . . . especially compared to Roger's. I can't post any at the moment, anyway, because I'm down in Jim Garvie's neck of the woods on a well earned vacation from my extremely strenuous retirement.
Drove from Tucson to Florida for a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale . Spent a couple of hours at Everglades National Park on our way back from Key West this afternoon. I think I got a couple of nice captures. If so, I'll post a few tomorrow.
We really enjoyed the drive down Hwy A1A from Jacksonville along the Atlantic Coast and Everglades was great even though we only had a brief look see. We'll definitely be back with the camp trailer soon.
