Grand Canyon National Park News:
TRIP OF THE WEEK: Grand Canyon National Park just as relaxing in the winter (Obviously not news, but some interesting content)
Grand Canyon National Park's splendid scenery lures visitors all year, but the greatest numbers still arrive during the traditional summer vacation season. During summer, visitors throng the trails, crowd the viewpoints, reserve most of the camping sites and create lines for services, especially at the South Rim. Better-known and more easily accessible than the higher North Rim, the South Rim stays open year-round, while the North Rim closes in winter.

Hey Everyone,

The NP News is up for today. There are two pieces on bear in Yellowstone/Grand Teton in today's news - both with the bear getting killed at the end. The piece with the black bear was particularly enraging though on so many levels. Talk about a shame - that this bear was systematically fed over time, captured and ultimately tortured and killed is really offensive. Pieces like this just make you not want to know what happens in the greater world.
