Working on a few of my Opal Creek shots from a few weeks ago.





Everyone always goes for the eye candy in the second image. For me though the essence of Opal Creek is in the first image. Crystalline Green water flowing through it's filter of an old growth forest.

Well I have a major sweet tooth so I like the eye candy one! It looks very painterly! Just lovely.

Both shots are great, the second shot is much more dynamic as there is such contrast between the whiteness of the water compared to the rest of the photograph. The second shot I feel is a bit overdone with HDR but it is still my favorite of the two shots.

Thanks Nolad. FYI, There is no HDR work on any of these shots.
