Hey Tom,

Thanks for the photos of Grand Canyon. GC has a special place for me because that is where I went on my honeymoon. Having said that, we were absolute idiots in how we did it. We were never up or out at hours when the light in the Canyon is at its peak. We were just big lazy tourists, LOL.

I want to get back to GC at some point in the future. It might be really nice to go up and do the North Rim right.

Cheers!
James

Nice choice of pictures to post. First 3 from the same spot? All very different though, interesting. Where was this- we are going to the Grand Canyon Lodge at the North rim end of July, as well as some camping along the way. Any choice recomendations?
Thank's

nicely done! I like them. The only thing I might try is to zap that bright reflection in the last shot and darken or lighten the face of the first hill. Otherwise they're great. . .

Well I guess it would be a great place for a honeymoon and since it was your honeymoon I'm sure you had other things on your mind other then taking pictures of a big hole in the ground We were over by the South Rim and got there pretty early. We arrived there around 3:00am. We were driving from a military test site in Nevada with a truck load of test equipment and thought since we were so close to the Grand Canyon we would stop and have a look see. I wish we could have spent more time there and maybe we will next time. We may have to go back there in June.

The first two were from the same place but the third one we walked down a path for a while if I remember right. It was still taken in the same direction though. As far as any recommendations if you read my last post we didn't get to spend that much time there. We were by the South Rim but have no idea what the other parts look like. I hear Monument Valley is very nice.

Good suggestion and did remove the bright spot on the one I printed a couple of weeks ago and I guess I should have uploaded that one here instead. I also cropped it a little different. Here is the edited version of the same shot.

I like it, a lot! I'd like to see it full frame too, do you have one full frame?

Thanks for posting. . .
