One of the things I like most about the Loons are the sounds they make at night. What a great way to fall asleep.

nice work with the 1.4. Ive never had that much luck with a 1.4 on the 200-400 afs vr. That said, i'm shooting the new VR II now and maybe i'll give it another try . . . I know the new TCE III 2x works well with the new VR II 200-400 . . .

do you have any water level shots of those loons?

Very nice shot! I love the sound of Loons as well, one of my favorite sounds to hear in nature.
