I spent some time last Spring shooting in the Yosemite Valley. It's one of my favorite locations to shoot. Absolutely stunning. I'm still trying to figure out how to convey the awe I feel when I'm standing before such sights.

Tunnel View at Sunset

El Capitan from Cathedral Beach

El Capitan from Valley View

Small rapids east of the Pohono Bridge

One of the Anna's Hummingbirds that joined me every morning for breakfast

Lovely shots Scott. I love the B&W of El Captitan. Tunnel View photo is my favorite.

Hi Scott,

I agree. I think the B&Ws are just lovely and the humming bird is great too.

Scott,
Excellent images. I like them all, but I'm a sucker for Tunnel View images of any variety (as you can see on my website). I haven't been to Yosemite in a few years and need to go back to refresh my spirits. What time in the spring did you visit? I usually go the last two weeks in May to catch the flow from the waterfalls without getting the crowds that form after Memorial Day.
Thanks for sharing these beautiful images of my favorite park.
Joe

I was there in the middle of May and the water flow was great. On the other hand, I'd like to do some winter shooting there sometime as well.

Hey Joe (isn't that a song??),

Just checked out your website. You have a lot of really nice work there. Glad to have you as a new member and seeing more of your work.

Cheers

I have always said that "Love" is the key to great landscape photography. Its the untold secret that changes the way you "see".

I see the love in your work.

Grats.

These are excellent compositions, I've been there and what the human eye can see can not be duplicated in a photo.
