Kolob Canyon is part of Zion National Park. It is not accessible from the main part of the park except by way of a lengthy back country hike, but there is a nice scenic drive that starts right next to Interstate 15, about half way between St George and Cedar City.

We were in Zion two years ago and I just loved the place. We did 3 days there and got some of the best 'parking lot' photos I have ever taken! LOL - seriously. The best sunrises I have ever seen were taken in the parking lot because I could not get my family up and out in the morning.
