Hey Astroguy,

Welcome and thanks for sharing your gallery. I particularly like the two photographs in your collection - the first is the sunset with it just dipping over the horizon. The second photograph is the moon coming past the mountain.

Do you want to comment about where the photographs were taken?

We probably shoot at the same places in S. Florida.

Nice work! I particularly like the astrophotography. I could easily get hooked on that but don't need another bunch of equipment purchases to rationalize!

Ha! Good point. I really like the astrophotography too but since I have to make money with my camera I don't take much time for this shooting. Maybe there is some $$ in this?

How are you modifying your equipment to do astrophotography? Would you share how you are able to take these photographs? They are really cool. Also, would something like the new '20da' be helpful for what you do (I know - not a 'gear' forum, but sometimes it is OK to ask about equipment, right?)?

Astroguy,

Your photos are great! You have a good selection of bird photos.

I also enjoyed your astro photos, it must be amazing to be able to see and photograph the planets and stars as you have. I especially liked M42. Where did you photograph them from and at what time of the year?

I am interested in knowing more about how you took the photos.

Astroguy,

I like the mix of different subjects. All the birds and animals are making me want to go out and do some myself - haven't done much. Bad for a guy that lives in Africa!

Cheers

Hi Mark,

I saw your website for the first time today. That is a really great website. It is a very gutsy preganancy photograph on the front page - well done. I like the rim light.

Your galleries are excellent.

The sunset was taken in the Everglades and the moon picture was taken near Monument Valley.

thanks for the kind words and sorry I have been away for so long.
