I thought that flowers would be an easy subject...I was wrong. Seems like almost every flower shot I get is not as defined as I would like or blurry, but I am working on it.

Agreed. It is always difficult to make the ordinary look different. Having said that - it is something to aspire to - and it is great to see you trying. One of these days, I hope someone picks the "10 photos from one location" challenge as I think that is exactly what one is doing.

Nice shots Katie. I frequently have a problem with motion blur on flower shots. The slightest of breeze and a delicate petal wiggles imperceptibly. Believe it or not, but you can buy gizmos to help hold blooms still for your shots. While I was searching for a link to one I stumbled across this brief how to article that looks interesting.
