I counted about 12 of them so now there is no question spring has arrived. I am not happy with any of these so now I have to go back and try again????

As usual, Roger, excellent work! I have always wanted to see one in the flesh. You gave me as close a view as I think I am going to get any time soon. :P

Nice shots, Roger. We have the ubiquitous Turkey Vulture and the Black Vulture as well. They are both huge and both soar on those rising thermals. Recently, I've seen more of the Black Vultures than the Turkey variety. Here's a sample:



James, you have different kinds of vultures in NYC wink.
