The other day I had a realization slap me across the face. I was searching for an image and it was no where to be found. I knew I had a rather large photography drive... but dang.

I had been tossing around the idea of just kinda walking away from things but a friend of mine convienced me otherwise. She said... "you got the tallent and gear, so why not just put it to use".

So... I'm trying to get back in the swing of things and since I couldn't find the image I wanted to share with someone I went and did some investigating on my photography drive.

Turns out I only have 499 folders containing 29,732 files. I have started importing and organizing them in LR3. So far I'm up to a little over 11k done. It sure will be nice to know when Im done I can find all my images of "whatever" really quick.

Anyhow... I hope to be sticking around a bit more often this time around. Now time to go see what others have done since my last visit.

And a thread wouldn't be complete without pics... so I guess I'll show off the comedian of the group.

Welcome back, Kevin! I was inspired by your earlier sets of photos to start going to the local wildlife refuge. I have a collection of photos I have been meaning to publish here for months.

Glad I could inspire you. I hope you don't take as long as I did to process the images. I still have RAW files to process from my 2008 wolf trip. Guess I need to get the lead out and get it done. Just takes time when you come home with over 3500 images.
