Photographing a chinchilla was a first for me. They sure are active little critters. I used a light tent to diffuse the light and attempt to put the animal at ease.
Thanks, Jim. Even with the light cube, this was difficult. They sure do move around a lot. Do you feel that I 'over did' the red? i.e. should I have used a more toned down backdrop? I suppose I could do that in post because the light is so even.
James, the red is a little hot but it doesn't bother me. The subject still comes off of it just fine. But, as you say, if you wanted to bring it down it's pretty easy to do that in post.
