High Country Sea Gulls I found these at Lake Heron and the elevation is over 7,000 ft. Every time I see them I wonder why are they at a lake this high and where do they go when the lake freezes over in the winter ???

I wonder the same thing. I see gulls in the weirdest places...some times hundreds and hundreds of miles from what I would consider natural habitat for them. LOL, what the heck do I know? The always seem plump enough.
