Bertha the Bald Eagle was singing to me today. I am thinking she was singing God Bless America. She started off with a low note and worked her way up to a high note.

Hi Roger!

I love the detail on this series. How long did it take to get that close - or were you already there waiting on her to arrive?

What time of day? The first one looks like you used a fill flash?

Where you using your Bush Hawk or a tripod?

Sorry to be so nosy. . . just trying to learn from the master.

Jim

I was already there waiting for her. Not really room for much more than me and my camera so no tripod or BushHawk.

I probably was there a hour before she showed up. I am guessing I got there around 8am.

I did a lot of cropping for these as well.

Were you in a hide? I'm impressed that you can hand hold that 500mm lens aft 1/400th sec with no camera shake. All I can say is Wow!

My arms and hands get tired that is for sure. In bushes I have hollowed out.
