My 1st photos of Antelope crawling under a fence. I have seen this before but never had a camera with me. I have NEVER seen a Antelope jump a fence. I have watched spooked Antelope run across a field and stop when they got to a fence and then one at a time crawl under the fence and then take off again. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Pronghorn vs Antelope = When I was a little guy maybe 65 years ago my dad showed me some & told me they were Antelope. The correct name may be Pronghorn but to me they will always be Antelope, that is what my dad said and that is good enough for me.

I think of them as Pronghorn Antelopes. I would really liked to have seen this in person. I have never seen anything like it.
James I am being told that in Wyoming some of them have learned to jump.

Jump they do. The Pronghorn Antelope is an awesome critter. They are the second fastest land animal in the world, moving in sprints of up to 60mph. They are easily spooked. I have a bunch of really nice photos I took with them with my wife in '08. Unfortunately with a 8 megapixel camera. I have not gotten as nice opportunities since.
James Good luck on getting another chance soon.

The only time I have ever gotten good photos was by sitting in a field in some heavy brush. I sat there for about 3 hours and all of a sudden the field was filled with them. I usually only have the opportunity to sit when it is just me and Chanthee. When it is a family trip, it becomes drive, see jam, stop. James Sounds like the trips with just the 2 of you IMHO are the best trips.
