It has been a while since I have posted so I thought it was about time I shared something with the group. We spent the last couple of weeks camping in Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Fires burning in both locations made landscape photography difficult. Especially in the Tetons. But, every cloud has a silver lining. Well, in this case Gold. The smoke & haze combined with clouds to produce some dramatic effects. I took this at 5:35 PM. That's not fire, just the sun in the sky during the late afternoon.

Fires still burning in Yellowstone. While we were in the Tetons we did not experience the bold sunrises or sunsets that we did occasionally in Yellowstone. I think that part of it was that while we were there the overcast was too heavy.
