I was on highway 17 almost to Chama and I notice the colors are getting started. They are just starting so no need to plan a trip up here yet.

Is this early for you guys? Jackson peeks in about 3 weeks (typically). We peek out here in the NE around Columbus Day Weekend. The trick is that it has been really - really - dry this year and I am concerned we are going to have a disappointing color season.

Our peak is around the last week of Sept thru the first week of October.
