I was reading recently how a photograph was recently taken down by the British Natural History museum because the main subhect (an anteater) was allegedly stuffed.
This brought me to this article today - also in the Guardian - where they talk about thss being surprisngly common.
https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2018/apr/30/fake-animal-photography-taxidermy-baitingIt is quite a sad commentary on the state of photography - but I suppose one should not be surprised. Anyway, let's hope that the gentleman who lost the prize is being honest when he says that this was not a fake.
