Hi everyone. It has been quite while since I have posted, been very busy. I thought I would show a few photos from the last shoot that I did. The first one is just a typical pet portrait. The second one was taken right after we put the santa suit on him, he was not impressed. I added the dream bubbles for the fun of it and I think it turned out to be quite humurous. As time went on the puppy got more comfortable and we got some decent portraits.

Happy Holidays Everyone

Thank you for the kind words Julie. Yes they are gels on the backround, I am still experimenting with them to get the right look. By the way, Your puppies are so cute. I can't get over how much they change from the time they are puppies to adults. If you never told me what breed they are, I would have never known they are Whippets. My Doxie pretty much looked the same from when he was a puppy, besides being alot longer now.

Those look great! I like them. They have an almost cartoon like feel to them. I have a question. The feet look like they have been placed on the cushion. What kind of Post processing did you do?

Thank you for the comment Finalshot. I actually burned the front of the stool a little and then had to erase the burn on top of the feet. Also, the main light is placed to the right of the puppy which may have caused a little bit of shadow under the front of the feet.

These are great! What a cute puppy, you did get some good expressions. I have a newbie question...what color is your backdrop that you used the gels with?

Hello Dee Dee

I used black seamless paper for the backround. Between Black seamless paper, artic white paper, and a few gels, you'll have alot of colour options.

Thanks for the info, I had no idea this would be black paper. I have the arctic white, I see I will need black too (and some gels!).
