Hey Jim,

I really like the first one of the two. The colors in both are spectacular. I prefer the first over the second because you can see the full reflection of the birds in the first one.

Were they taken on different days? The spot seems to be the same, but the water appears different.

Same spot...8 minutes apart...therefore the angle of the sun was slightly different, as was the amount of breeze on the water.

Like you, I liked the first shot best. Most everyone else however, likes the 2nd one best!
