OK this is the last Heron in my collection. I thought I'd make it a little more interesting and see if anyone can identify it. I can tell you it's not from around here.

I really don't have a clue as to the mystery Heron.

Well no one took a stab at my mystery heron. For those of you that are curious the heron is an inhabitant of the upper Amazon basin in Ecuador. It is a Rufescent Tiger Heron and this particular one I captured at the Sacha Lodge on the Napo River (a tributary to the Amazon).

Turns out I haven't exhausted all my Herons. Here is a relatively rare Lava Heron on Geonovesa Island in the Galapagos.
