This is meant to be a serious critique forum where we try to say quite a bit more than “Nice picture” or “Great work”. ..This does not mean we also want you to knit pick the shot to death. This also requires you not to be defensive if it is your shot.

We expect honest, truthful, tactful critiques as doing so not only teaches the owner of the shot something, but going through these topics and thinking them through in your critique will also teach you what areas to look at in your own photography and creative process. Before you know it you will be thinking differently and thoroughly about your work before you click the shutter.

Please do not post more than one picture here in a day, and please do not post a link to your gallery asking for a critique. As you can see from the list below it would be unfair to ask someone to run a full legitimate critique on more than one shot per post.

If we all work within these ideals, we can create a very unique and useful forum.
