if youre planning a trip to glacier this week be ready for very poor air quality. You may want to consider using the smoke in your compositions, otherwise you'll be shooting just haze. Right now it's bad enough that landscapes will be very challenging, i try to use the sun and smoke for dramatic sunset shots. . .

I'll post when conditions change, but the forecast is for lots of VERY hot weather over the course of this week.

It you have breathing difficulties I would wait on a trip to glacier. . . .

Tony,

That's not what I wanted to here. Hopefully things clear up soon. You tell Mother Nature she's got two weeks to clear up her acti (and the air) before I get out there, LOL!

We'll just have to watch the weather, but there's a new fire up the north fork of the flathead - west side of the park - one up the middle fork, and one south along the missions, two south of me in the lewis and clark forest. If we get a strong cold front with a lot of rain and wind things will clear out. . .

Go here and you can view the park when the sun is up.
