not everything i do is wildlife... this shot of Mt. Shuksan was taken last October. i missed the peak fall color by about 3 weeks, and 3 weeks after i took this shot, the spot where i was standing was under 5 feet of snow! i happened to hit a perfectly calm afternoon, so the reflection is absolutely amazing... i have a 20x30 print of this image on my living room wall, and it really looks spectacular. taken with a Canon 30D and Tamron SP24-135 lens, 1/25 sec. @ f/16

That is a fantastic shot. Without being there you wouldn't have got it, congrats to those that go and take the camera. Alot of people are wishing they could see/photo scenes like this but fail to get out of their chair.
We must keep trying, then possibly one day you'll hit right (be in the right place at the right time with your choice of lenses).
