So it's been a while since I posted here, but I recently bought two new lenses for my Pentax K10d for a trip to Europe and I've been bitten by the photo bug again.

So, for your enjoyment (I hope) and critiquing pleasure, I'll submit some very recent shots of the pack and a couple other items for fun...

All my pics are hosted over at Webshots, so clicking the image will take you to the larger image over there, and in the top-right side of the page you can click the Full Size link to view the original 6MP version of the image. All Macros/close-ups shot with a Sigma 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 APO DG in the Macro setting.

Diva

Boca

Reno

Some other fun stiff from last week...

Grasshopper - really worth looking at the full sized original to see the detail on the grasshopper and his/her eye in the Macro shot. I was about 12 feet away from it when I shot this one.

...and a quick still life for fun...

My blog book is at my Online Marketing blog.

Hi Duane,

I had not replied initially because I did not see the click through images...just text. Having said that, my favorites are of 3rd of Diva and the 2nd of Boca. I like the very natural expressions on them.

James

Thanks guys. I'm assuming you've seen the images now James?

What a PITA it's been using hosted solutions to keep my pics in.

I may end up just going back to editing my pics and placing them on pages of my own websites then hot-linking them into posts. Same thing was also happening to me over at www.pentaxforums.com I'm sad to say.

Oh well - technology helps, right?!

Bought some new polarizing filters today, so we'll see what the next round looks like.
